Heart of Christmas 2024 - Reindeer Fun
August 19, 2024
Welcome to the another week of Heart of Christmas for 2024. Each week, the talented ladies from the Art with Heart team will bring you inspiration for your holiday craft projects.
This week I am using the another new bundle from the upcoming 2024 September - December Mini Catalogue, called Reindeer Fun. I've created a simple card with the very cute reindeer that you create with the Reindeer Fun Dies.
I chose 2 designs from the Take a Bow Designer Paper, which is a 6" x 6" pack with small patterns in traditional red and green tones and separated them with a Basic White border and some of the new Natural Tones Linen Thread.
For the centrepiece I have the cute reindeer that is constructed from 3 die cuts that you layer together. I've used Early Espresso, Very Vanilla and Pecan Pie and before adhering them together I ink blended some Pretty in Pink on his ears. He has a Garden Green wreath around his neck that has been sponged for a little depth and I add some (retired) Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels. You could colour the clear Rhinestones with the Real Red Stampin' Blends marker.
I popped up the reindeer onto a Real Red circle cropped with a die from the Spotlight on Nature Dies and added it to a Basic White circle cropped with Stylish Shapes Dies. The greeting from the Reindeer Fun stamp set was stamped in Real Red on Basic White and I flagged the ends.

Oh my Judy your reindeer card is so super cute and one to tempt everyone to purchase this bundle. I'd been wondering how to use the wreath but after seeing your card I love the idea of the reindeer having it around their neck. Love it!

What a very cute card! That reindeer is adorable and I love the wreath, bow and rhinestones. The DSP works perfectly with your design Judy. I love that font too and can’t wait to play with this suite.

Oh so adorable, Judy. Love the diecut reindeer popping through the wreath centred on the featured circle. Those designer papers are so bright and cheery and love this layout with the strip across the centre with the twine. Love this card!!

Snap on the bundle, Judy! Your reindeer looks so cute with the wreath and I love how well the Take a Bow Designer Paper works with the reindeer too. Those lines of twine wrapping the card between the two DSP papers add an elegant touch of texture.

So so cute Judy. I love your gorgeous reindeer with a wreath around his neck. So sweet. The combination of DSP with the white strip and Linen Thread separating the different designs - beautiful. The flagged sentiment is perfect for the card. Love it all. xxx

He's so cute Judy! I really love how you have created the wreath, and added the extra colour to the ears. It ties in your reindeer colour choices really well.

Beautiful card, Judy. The Reindeer Fun Dies are top of my list, of favourite new products. That little reindeer head is just too much fun to create, isn't it?! I love the little guy you've created, and the papers you've used to decorate your card. Just delightful.
