Heart of Christmas 2024 - Season of Green & Gold
August 05, 2024
Welcome to the first week of Heart of Christmas for 2024. Each week, the talented ladies from the Art with Heart team will bring you inspiration for your holiday craft projects. I cannot believe how fast this year has gone and it's definitely time to start your holiday crafting projects.
This week I an using products from the beautiful Season of Green & Gold Suite that was one of the recent Online Exclusives releases. The only way to do this designer paper justice is to see it in real life. It is really elegant with lovely gold foil accents.
To make it super easy to use the images, there are dies for the 3 foliage images, to help you get creating quickly.
This is the card I made with the Season of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper and the the coordinating Golden Greenery Dies.
This is actually a Pillar Fun Fold card that provides lots of dimension and interest. I've used Very Vanilla for the base and added Gold Foil to the sides of the pillar to coordinate with the gold foil accents in the paper and used 2 of the other designs in the pack. The greeting is from the Greetings of the Season stamp set and I used the coordinating Greetings of the Season Dies that has a great selection of shapes for sentiment labels and tags.
The card does fold flat for posting in a standard medium envelope even with the overlap of the sentiment.
For the inside I have a wide Gold Foil mat and the Very Vanilla writing panel with a narrow border of Garden Green. I finished it with one of the foliage sprays in the corner.

Judy what a beautiful fun fold card. I don't think I have seen this one before. These papers are my favourite and with the matching dies makes it easier.

Such a beautiful pillar fun fold card Judy. It really is great how the dies now coordinate with the paper removing the need to fussy cut! Your choice of ribbon is perfect (shame it is retired).

Beautiful card! I’ve seen a lot of cards made with this set, but yours is definitely one of the best! Also, I just wanted to say, I wish I lived in Toowoomba, I would love putting that name on my correspondence!

Wow, O wow, a stunning card Judy. I love it. I adore your pillar fold built on a card base, so you still have a card that opens. The use of the Season of Green & Gold is gorgeous with die cut pieces and beautiful backgrounds. xxx

Very pretty, Judy. Don't you just love this suite? It's a firm favourite of mine, too. I love that you have anchored all the focal elements on your card front, on a piece of the Very Vanilla and gold DSP - it breaks up the bold greens of the background paper. Clever fun fold, that you have used to make a really elegant card.

Beautiful, Judy. Great use of products and love all the lush gold metallic pieces. A really fun fancy fold that shows off so many of the DSP elements. Love it!
