Woohoo, only 3 sleeps until the new 2023 September - December Mini Catalogue is live in the Online Store (Wednesday 6th September)! As we can't use images from the inside the catalogue until then, I've used the sample on the left side of the front cover above as my inspiration.

The card on the left side of the front cover is 3" x 3" in size, but I started with a side opening standard Basic White card base and cut 1" (2.6cm) off the right edge. The NOEL from the Joy of Noel stamp set was heat embossed in gold and cropped with the corresponding die. I then cropped the NOEL again from Foam Adhesive Sheet, peeled the paper from the top of each letter (while still in the frame) and added the gold embossed letter. I find I get a better finish by doing the 2 step process as the letters don't get crunched on the sides by the extra pressure of the foam. The letters were adhered onto the right edge of the card, so they are visible when the card is open or closed.

I cut another piece of Basic White the size of the front and dry embossed it with the cross-hatch design from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. A strip of the Shaded Spruce mottled design (I love this vibrant green) and a narrow strip of the Real Red plaid, both from the lovely Joy of Christmas pack were adhered on the left. The large spray from the Joy of Noel stamp set was stamped and coloured with alcohol markers and cropped with the corresponding die.  Three sprays of the pine branch were cropped from Mossy Meadow card stock as well as 2 of the rounded open leaf branch from Gold Foil using the die from the Christmas Classics set. All of the elements were layered onto the front panel and 2 strands of white Baker's Twine was wrapped around and finished with a bow. The panel was adhered to the front of the card and I finished with 3 gold adhesive-backed sequins.

For the inside, I have a mat of the Shaded Spruce mottled design for the writing panel and I've stamped the holly portion of the large spray again and adhered it to the bottom corner after colouring and fussy cutting.
