Heart of Christmas - Trucking Along

Welcome to Heart of Christmas for 2023. Each week (until early December), the talented ladies from the Art with Heart team will bring you inspiration for your holiday craft projects. I hope to be here on a Monday evening as much as possible this year, to help me build up my Christmas card stash.
As my preorder from the new 2023 September-December Mini Catalogue didn't arrive until today, I decided to use the Trucking Along Bundle for my card this week. It is fun and unconventional, but I was happy with the way it turned out.
I started off with some ink blending on a piece of Basic White to create the sky background and that was the basis for the colour choice of Berry Burst and Blueberry Bushel for the gingham and plaid banners that the truck sits on. The It's In The Stars background stamp was heat embossed in silver to create the lovely starry sky. The truck is popped up on Dimensionals and the parcels and tree are layered up in the back of the truck to create more dimension.
For the inside, I have stamped the parcels along the bottom of the writing panel and partially coloured them and then added it to a panel of Blueberry Bushel to create a narrow border.

Oh Judy, I love your non-traditional colour choice! This is such a fun card. Your silver embossed starry sky looks fabulous, as does everything else. It's an absolutely gorgeous card!

Your card is so so beautiful Judy. I love your alternative Christmas colours. Your starry sky is gorgeous as are the gingham layers for the little truck to sit on. Great minds think alike for the row of presents inside the card. I love that you have added colour to them. xxx

Such a pretty cared, Judy. I hadn't even noticed that Background Stars stamp, but it's so beautiful with your scene. Your blending and colouring is lovely.

The ombre look for your sky is just beautiful Judy and i really love the non traditional colour combo that you have used for your card. The row of presents on the inside look fabulous.

Judy your card is stunning both inside and out. The choice of colours, the ink blending, the heat embossed background and the choice of DSP is simply perfect.

Judy your card is so bright and cheerful using those vibrant colours. Love how each card on tonight’s blog hop have used the Trucking Along bundle differently. That embossed silver starry sky is gorgeous.

The gingham papers, and Berry Burst truck, are my favourite elements on your fun Christmas card, Judy. I'm a big fan of the It's In The Stars background stamp, too - it looks great, silver-embossed against blue.
