This week we are taking inspiration from a project in the new 2023-24 Annual Catalogue that uses some of our new colours. We have 11 new core colours in the Colour Collection and I'm thrilled to see some lovely brand new colours and some old favourites returning to freshen everything up.

The Bright & Beautiful Suite Collection on pages 14 and 15 is a bright, fun group of products that is perfect for all kinds of celebratory occasions. It also includes 6 of the new core colours and I chose the project in the photo above for my inspiration.

Stampin' Up! Bright & Beautiful Suite | Judy May, Just Judy Designs

I have included all the key elements of the sample project, but mixed it up a bit. I started with a portrait tent fold card and added the stars and Berry Burst designs from the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper pack to the card base. The fun fringe in Berry Burst was created with a die from the Beautiful Balloons Dies and I wrapped some Bubble Bath sheer ribbon around the top with a knot added separately. The fringe covers the join of the papers, leaving space for the'celebrate' greeting at the base. The die comes from the new Wanted To Say Dies and I have added Foam Adhesive Sheet to the reverse of Gold Foil to create lots of dimension and then adhered it to the shadow.  The 'celebrate' die is very fine, so you need to be super careful releasing it from the frame.

I have cropped 3 balloons from Blueberry Bushel, Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst card stock using the die from Beautiful Balloons Dies. The greeting from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set was stamped on the Lemon Lime Twist balloon in black ink. I've cropped another balloon from the new Gold Celebrations Specialty Paper (it is actually window sheet or acetate) that is part of the suite and carefully adhered it to the Blueberry Bushel balloon. If you put tiny dots of Tombow Glue on the reverse side on the streamers and let it go tacky, it will not smear. For the Berry Burst balloon, I've embossed it with the cross-hatch design from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (from Online Exclusives).
