This week we are CASE-ing a project from the 2022 January-February Sale-a-bration brochure.

I chose the project above for my inspiration, using the Simply Marbelous Designer Paper, which is one of the FREE products you can choose with a qualifying order of $90AUD or more.

Stampin' Up! Simply Marbelous & Friendly Hello | 2022 Sale-a-bration | Judy May, Just Judy Designs
I started with a Thick Basic White card base and add a panel of the Highland Heather Simply Marbelous Designer Paper with a narrow border of Gorgeous Grape. I chose the cloud-like design to provide a soft background to the bird and flowers from the Friendly Hello stamp set, which is another of the FREE Sale-a-bration products.

I used the reverse side of one of the Heart & Home Doilies for the background and added a large circle of Gorgeous Grape card stock behind it to  add more definition. I coloured the bird image from the Friendly Hello stamp set with Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers and then fussy cut it on the line. I also coloured and cut a couple of extra flowers. The leaves were stamped in Old Olive ink and fussy cut. The greeting is from the Flowing Flowers stamp set and I've heat embossed it in white on Gorgeous Grape card stock. Then it was a matter of positioning and layering all the elements on top of the doily. I finished with 3 of my favourite Brushed Brass Butterflies.
