This week we are CASE-ing our favourite bundle from the 2021 July-December Mini Catalogue. My stand out favourite from this catalogue has to be the Merriest Moments Bundle. It has everything you need to create beautiful cards with the Merriest Moments stamp set and coordinating Merriest Frames Dies and the fabulous Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder. So many options to mix and match and the stamp set has lovely sentiments in a great mix of fonts.

I have selected the sample project above from page 43 of the Mini Catalogue for my inspiration. I like the layout and the background stamping but the colours don't really do anything for me. I have recently seen gorgeous pink potted Poinsettia plants at my local hardware store, so I decided to go for a brighter colour combo.

I started with a piece of Basic White card stock and stamped the ferny branches in Just Jade ink, based on where I thought I would place the Poinsettia flowers and added the dots in Polished Pink. I thought it looked a bit plain, so I ran it through with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder to add some texture and interest. I added the panel to a Pool Party card base.

I stamped the greeting from Merriest Moments stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink onto a strip of Pool Party and adhered it to a strip of Polished Pink leaving a wide border and added it to the card base. The Poinsettia flowers were stamped in Polished Pink ink and cropped with the coordinating die and offset. I added the centre piece in Silver Foil to lift it and finished with a large rhinestone in the centre. I decided to go with only 2 Poinsettia flowers, breaking the rule of threes, as I thought it looked nicer.  Some holly leaves and foliage were stamped in Just Jade ink and positioned around the flowers.  I finished with a trio of rhinestones.
