This week we are  CASE-ing a 3D project from the 2021-22 Annual Catalogue.

I've chosen the sweet project above for my inspiration, using the Fresh Freesia Ombre Gift Bag.

I decided to create a card from the 3D inspiration project. I started with a panel of Basic White and used a Blending Brush to add Pool Party ink to create the ombre look before dry embossing with the checked design from the Checks & Dots Embossing Folder pack. I added a strip of the fun striped design from the fabulous Pattern Party Designer Series Paper Pack. It is a pack of 48 sheets of 12 x 12 patterned paper that you can choose with your Stampin' Rewards. For the tag, I have cut a Basic White strip with the die from the Ornate Layers Dies, cutting twice to shorten it to the desired size before stamping the birthday greeting from the Pansy Patch stamp set in Basic Gray ink.

I die cut the pieces for the pansy using the Pansy Dies, with the back petals and centre in Polished Pink, the leaves and stem in Granny Apple Green, the. The face and bud was cut from Basic White and I used a Blending Brush to add Polished Pink and So Saffron ink. I also added Polished Pink ink around the edge of the back petals to add depth and Granny Apple Green around the leaves. I assembled the pansy, popping up the back petals behind the face and popping it up on the tag. The bud and leaves were slipped underneath and adhered flat. I tossed up whether to add a bow in the top left corner, but decided I liked the clean look and added lots of bling instead, lol.

Those colours are gorgeous Judy, and I do love the detail of the pansy sitting on an embossed background.

I love your bold colour palette. Fabulous against the DSP choice. Your shading is just perfect.

So so pretty. The candy stripes are just beautiful with the super soft ombre background with the gorgeous texture. What a wonderful card!!

Oh, wow, your pansy looks amazing! The bold colours are fabulous. I really love the checked background, too.
