Box of Sunshine Paper Pumpkin Kit

I'm popping by today to tell you about the Box of Sunshine Paper Pumpkin kit that is now available to purchase in Australia, while supplies last. Paper Pumpkin is a monthly subscription based kit that is only available in North America. Occasionally (this is the second time), we get the opportunity to purchase one of these fun kits.

The idea behind a 'Box of Sunshine' is to fill a box  with fun, bright, yellow/orange goodies to help brighten someone's day. The Box of Sunshine Paper Pumpkin kit was inspired by Stampin' Up! CEO, Sara Douglass so we can bring some colour, fun and smiles to friends and family during this crazy time of the COVID-19 pandemic.  While the kit was available in June in North America, it is now available in Australia from today, 11 August 2020.  This kit would also make a fabulous gift for a crafty friend.

In the bright yellow box, there are enough supplies to make 8 full sized cards (2 each of 4 designs) and extra pieces to decorate the front of the box to send to your lucky recipient. The finished cards as designed are shown below.

Included in your kit are the following supplies:

• Box of Sunshine Photopolymer Stamp Set
• Basic Black Archival Stampin’ Spot
• Card bases with gold foil
• Printed envelopes with gold foil
• Die cuts with gold foil
• Printed die cuts with gold foil
• Die-cut stickers
• Adhesive-backed sequins
• Mini dimensionals
• Adhesive dots

The coordinating colours for the kit are Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce, White and Gold. If you were thinking of gifting the kit to a friend, then a 'D' size acrylic block is required for the stamps.

The 8 piece Box of Sunshine Photopolymer stamp set that is included in the kit has a great set of versatile greetings and a couple of fun elements that you will continue to use long after making the cards in the kit. Here is a close-up photo to see the detail:

You get 10 in a pack for $13.00AUD, so they are great value. The dimensions of the assembled boxes are 14.9 x 9.5 x 2.5 cm and are food safe.

Of course, the fabulous thing about a craft kit is that you can use the elements to create alternate designs with the supplies. There are extra die cut pieces and stickers included, so you can make additional cards or change up the designs. Because the kit has just become available today to both customers and Demonstrators, I'm unable to show you any alternate designs I've created.
