Heart of Christmas - Week 12
November 06, 2019
Welcome to Week 12 of Heart of Christmas with the Art with Heart Stampin' Up! team.
My card this week uses the products from the new Christmastime Is Here Suite, available now in my Online Store, until 30 November 2019.
As you can see from the photo above, there are lots of products in this suite and you can purchase the entire suite with a single item number or choose the individual products you want. There is the 2-pack Christmas Rose stamp set with coordinating die for the large image, which also crops some of the images from the Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper. Plus there are some extra frames and decorative pieces in the Rose Dies. Gold Glitter Enamel Dots and Gold Shimmer Ribbon are the coordinating embellishments. Plus, there is a cute bangle, featuring a rose motif on the charm and a little Stampin' Up! tag.
I have used the large floral image for my card today, coloured with Stampin' Blends Alcohol markers and cropped with the coordinating die. If you're not into colouring or need a quicker result, there are stamps in the set that will add colour to each section of the image.
I have kept the layout of my card really clean and simple, to allow the image to take centre stage. The card base is Cherry Cobbler which coordinates with the gold accented strip of coordinating Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper across the centre. On the layer of Whisper White I stamped the greeting from Itty Bitty Christmas in Cherry Cobbler before dry embossing with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder to add some texture.
I've coloured the rose in Daffodil Delight Blends, which is a bold and bright contrast to the Cherry Cobbler. The large rose was coloured a second time, fussy cut and popped up on the main image as you can see in my photo above. I did colour around edges of the rose in the main image, as it looks nice when viewed from an angle. I used Granny Apple Green for the leaves, Mossy Meadow for the pine leaves, Soft Suede for the pine cones and Light Cherry Cobbler for the berries.
All of the new products from the Holiday Catalogue are now available in my Online Store. If you don't have your own copy of the new Holiday Catalogue yet, then head to my 'Free Catalogues' page (tab at the top of the page) to register your details and I'll pop one in the post for you.

A beautiful card Judy. I love the bright yellow of the rose and it looks great fussy-cut too.

WOW! Stunning, Judy! The rose and foliage is coloured so beautifully, and I love how you've popped up the yellow rose.

I love your stunning yellow rose Judy and it certainly does take centre stage. The dimension that you were able to add with the popped up central rose is lovely too.

Oh Judy, I love your card it is beautiful, I love the use of the subtle 3D folder but I must admit that yellow roses are my absolute favourite and it took my husband over 20 years of marriage to work that out and we have been married 28 this year. Gorgeous card!
