Heart of Christmas - Week 7
October 02, 2019
Welcome to Week 7 of Heart of Christmas with the Art with Heart Stampin' Up! team.
This week I'm a bit time poor as I have a long list of chores that I need to get through before I leave for Cairns on Saturday morning. However, I managed to put a simple card together using the Pine Tree Punch and the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.
I started with Real Red card base and added a panel of Very Vanilla that has been matted on Shaded Spruce. I embossed the Very Vanilla panel with the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder and have used the debossed side which gives a more subtle look.
I've cropped 2 trees with the Pine Tree punch, one from the Wrapped in Plaid Specialty Designer Paper pack and one from Gold Glimmer paper. I adhered the green and red striped tree to a Shaded Spruce card stock tree to make it more robust. Both trees are sitting on a panel of Real Red card stock that I dry embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. The greeting from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set was cropped with a stitched circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies and matted on a circle of Gold Glimmer. I added some Shaded Spruce rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels pack and a sprinkle of small stars cropped with the smallest die from the Stitched Stars Dies.
All of the new products from the Holiday Catalogue are now available in my Online Store. If you don't have your own copy of the new Holiday Catalogue yet, then head to my 'Free Catalogues' page (tab at the top of the page) to register your details and I'll pop one in the post for you.

A simply lovely card Judy. I love the look of that Stylish Scroll EF, I think that might just have to be added to my next order!

A lovely card Judy. I especially love how the angle of the striped DSP looks like a string of red lights or tinsel wrapped around the tree. Have a lovely time in Cairns xx

What a great card Judy, I love the look with the debossed side being up. I might have to try that a bit more on my cards too!

Such a lovely card, Judy! I never would have guessed it came together in a hurry. The gold glimmer looks fab with the rich green and red.
