Heart of Christmas - Week 10

HoC_Header_2019_Blog
Hi there

Welcome to Week 10 of Heart of Christmas with the Art with Heart Stampin' Up! team.

This week I've CASE-d a layout from the Holiday Catalogue using the Perfectly Plaid stamp set. I love the fresh contemporary take on Christmas colours with the Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper

Stampin' Up! Perfectly Plaid & Let it Snow DSP - Judy May, Just Judy Designs, Melbourne
I used two of the coordinating designs from the Let it Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper featuring Coastal Cabana and Real Red on the Whisper White card base. The join has been covered with some retired Bermuda Bay Mini Chevron ribbon, but you could use a card stock strip as alternative.

My trio of trees sits on a stitched circle that has been dry embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, although it is not apparent in the photo.  The plaid tree was stamped in Coastal Cabana; the outline tree was heat embossed in white on Real Red and lastly, the outline tree was stamped in Bermuda Bay and then filled with Coastal Cabana in a two-step process. The lovely greeting from the Greatest Part of Christmas Host set  was stamped in Real Red, with the end tucked under the trees. I finished with a trio of Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Silver Glimmer stars.

For the inside I have a mat of Coastal Cabana for my writing panel  and I added a strip of the striped designer paper at the bottom. I added another of the outline trees in the corner to finish it.
