Broadway Milestone Birthday
May 02, 2019
Hi there
Someone in our house had a milestone birthday last week, so I made this double easel card to celebrate. This is a really simple fancy fold but has a wow factor to it.
I started with a thick Whisper White card base and then added the black easel panel to the front. The black, gold and white candle design paper from the Broadway Bound Specialty paper was added to the the back panel.
The numbers were cut from a sheet of the designer paper. I adhered them to Whisper White first to make them more robust before popping them up onto the Black Foil circle. The balloons were grouped together and adhered under the matted foil circle, which was popped up on the Gold Foil scallop circle. The gold spotted balloon was created using the balloon stamp from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set and then die cut.
For the inside, I have decorated both surfaces with the birthday die in Gold Glimmer at the top and a party hat heat embossed in black on Gold Foil is perched on the corner. Boys need bling, too!
I have gold embossed the greeting from Broadway Birthday and then added Black Foil die cut letters for the WISH using the retired Little Letters dies. I substituted one of the cute Candle embellishments for the 'I'.
The card folds down flat to go into a normal envelope for posting.
