CASE-ing the Catty - Sale-a-bration!
March 17, 2019
Hi there
Welcome to another week of CASE-ing the Catty. This is our second last week of Sale-a-bration for this year. The good news is that the Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack is available again while stocks last. For details of ALL of the Level 1 product choices available, see them in my Online Store.
If you've come from Lauren's blog, then welcome! If you're visiting me, I appreciate you stopping by today! You can continue your journey to see the other inspiring creations from the CTC Crew by clicking on the buttons at the bottom of the post.
We are taking our inspiration from the Sale-a-bration Brochures again this week and I am looking at this photo on page 10 of the main brochure.
I chose the By the Bay stamp set specifically for the image of the seagulls so I thought I had better get it inked up.
The sample card is quite narrow, but I have gone with a standard card base in Gray Granite. I embossed a layer with the Seaside embossing folder and added it to the card base. The Gray Granite striped DSP was flagged with the Banner Triple Punch with a smaller flagged piece in Pacific Point underneath.
I stamped the seagull image on Whisper White card stock and coloured it with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers and cropped it with with the same die from the Rose Trellis Thinlits. It is quite a small image, so I have popped it up on a Pacific Point oval to up-size it and also add an extra pop of colour. The leaves were die cut from Granny Apple Green and Old Olive card stock and I added a button with some Linen Thread knotted. The birthday greeting from Itty Bitty Birthdays was double cut with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits.
For the inside I have a mat of Pacific Point and I added a strip of the striped DSP down the side. The seagull image was stamped in the corner and coloured simply this time.

Oooh, I really love your CASE, Judy! The blue really pops on the card, and your colouring is superb.

Judy, I think I like your version of this card better than the original. I love the embossed background and the addition of Pacific Point, looks great.
