CASE-ing the Catty - Sale-a-bration!
February 17, 2019
Hi there
Welcome to another week of CASE-ing the Catty. We're half way through the Sale-a-bration promotion, so it is time to add some more excitement with the brand new Second Release products that are now available until 31 March 2019. Check out the new Level 1 and Level 2 products you can choose with a $90 or more purchase by viewing the Second Release Brochure online and you can save it to your computer or tablet.
If you've come from Liz's blog, then welcome! If you're visiting me, I appreciate you stopping by today! You can continue your journey to see the other inspiring creations from the CTC Crew by clicking on the buttons at the bottom of the post.
We are taking our inspiration from the Sale-a-bration Brochures again this week and specifically, I'm using the new Second Release brochure. There are a great range of new products to choose from, plus all of the products from the initial release are still available too.
My inspiration comes from the card on the right in this photo of the front cover of the Sale-a-bration Second Release brochure. This card uses the Painted Seasons Bundle which is a new Level 2 option that you can choose with an order of $180 and includes the Painted Seasons stamp set and Painted Seasons Designer Series paper. You can see more details about these products in the video below.
I was drawn to the stamped background on this card using the succulent stamps, plus the colour combo. These are distinktive stamps so you get all the gorgeous detail from just one impression of the stamp.
I stamped up a panel with succulents in Call Me Clover, Lemon Lime Twist and Pool Party, and added the little stars in Balmy Blue. A very narrow mat of Lemon Lime Twist was added to the art panel and then it was popped up on the Balmy Blue card base.
The greeting from the Dandelion Wishes stamp set was stamped in Call Me Clover ink and then cut with the Layering Circles Framelits and layered onto a stitched circle in Balmy Blue. I have a larger circle of Vellum sitting on the art panel and I then added the die cut leaves and wooden elements and the gold sequin trim in the centre. The greeting was popped up over the top of all of these embellishments. I finished with the wooden butterfly and the little flower.
For the inside I have a mat of Lemon Lime Twist and I've added 2 more of the succulents in the corner with some die cut leaves. I used a sponge dauber to add some extra colour into the centre of the Lemon Lime Twist flower. I'm looking forward to trying out more colour combinations.
