Heart of Christmas - Week 9
October 10, 2018
Hi there
Welcome to week 9 of Heart of Christmas from the Art with Heart team. I hope you are following along each week to create your Christmas card stash.
This week I'm having a play with the super cute Santa's Workshop Suite. The fabulous thing about this bundle is that the Santa's Signpost Framelits Dies can be used to crop a number of images from the coordinating Santa's Workshop Designer Series Paper. I've been strapped for time, so this has helped me to put this card together very quickly.
The base card is Poppy Parade and I've used a strip of the Sparkle Glimmer paper to form the base for my cute characters. I added some of the striped designer paper on the edges - the white stripes are flocked, so they feel like velvet. I cropped Santa, the cart and presents from the designer paper. I also die cut a plain shape from Whisper White and adhered it to the reverse to make the images for robust when I pop them up on foam pads. The little elf is one of the stamps from the Signs of Santa set, coloured with Stampin's Blends in Granny Apple Green and die cut with the framelits. The greeting is from the Christmas Traditions Punch Box and I've used the 1 3/4" Circle punch to crop it.
For the inside, I have a added the flocked, striped paper at the bottom of the writing panel. I've added the sign post which I stamped, coloured and die cut to the right side. I fussy cut one of the cute elves from the designer paper and added him to the left.
