CASE-ing the Catty - Favourite Holiday Tags

Hi there

This week the CTC Crew is taking inspiration from their favourite holiday tag.

If you've come from Rose's blog, then welcome! If you're visiting me, I appreciate you stopping by today!  You can continue your journey to see the other inspiring creations from the CTC Crew by clicking on the buttons at the bottom of the post.

This week, I'm taking my inspiration from a variety of tags in the Holiday Catalogue.  I started with the one on the left in the photo above.

Stampin' Up! Joyous Noel Holiday Tag - Judy May, Just Judy Designs, Melbourne
I started with a 2" strip of Whisper White card stock and added the paper from the Joyous Noel Specialty pack and then used the Scalloped Tag Topper punch to create the decorative top. I decided to go a bit brighter with the Shaded Spruce card stock and then heat embossed the greeting in white. I even got out the sewing machine to add the stitching to the top and bottom and to give the tag a bit more pop I added some Real Red ribbon behind it. I finished with the cute holly from the Peaceful Poinsettia stamp set.

These tags are in Very Vanilla and I've added some of the designer paper from the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Paper.  The strips were a bit short so I added the greeting from the Peaceful Noel Stamp set at the bottom with a little strip of glimmer paper. I then added some embellishments made from bits I had sitting around on my craft table.

Stampin' Up! Festive Farmhouse Holiday Tag - Judy May, Just Judy Designs, Melbourne

This final tag is one of my very favourites and I have used it previously as a layout for a card here. I think the original sample was wider, but I wanted to stay with my 2" wide design. I think it all fit quite well in the end.

Knocked it out of the park Judy! I love tags and love how you have changed up the middle tag to use bits and pieces you have on your desk!

Judy, all of your tags are gorgeous. I love all of the little details especially the stitching on the first tag.

Fabulous selection of tags Judy - the scallop tag topper works perfectly and that DSP really is shown off well.

Love them all!! Love the sparkle on them.
