The Heart of Christmas - Week 24
November 08, 2017
Hi there
Welcome to week 24 of Christmas inspiration from the Art with Heart Stampin' Up! team. This week I have a clean and simple card for you. Now we are into November, simple cards that are quick and easy to replicate are the way to go. This is a really great layout that lets your designer paper do the heavy lifting and you can use a range of embossing folders to coordinate with it.
I have embossed the top section of a panel of the Cherry Cobbler card stock with the Quilt Top embossing folder and added the tree design from the 'Be Merry' designer paper to the bottom section. Next the Garden Green label from the 'Lots of Labels' framelits is centred at the junction and the strip of Gold Glimmer laid on top. I inked the label from the 'Labels to Love' stamp set in Cherry Cobbler and used a cotton bud to remove the red ink from the trees and replaced it with a Garden Green marker. The labels from this stamp set are punched out with the Everyday Label Punch.
Although the stamped label is not exactly the same shape as the Garden Green label, I think they work well together. I stamped the label again in Garden Green and fussy cut the 'happy new year' banner and popped it up. The narrow gold ribbon was attached with a glue dot before popping up the finished label. The finished panel was added to a Whisper White card base.
For the inside, the writing panel sits on a Garden Green mat and I have a strip of the cute reindeer DSP at the bottom. It is topped with the Garden Green narrow dotted washi. I've stamped the greeting and swag from the 'Merry Mistletoe' stamp set in the centre.
This view from the top shows the gorgeous design of the Quilt Top embossing folder - one of my all time favourites.
All of the new products in the Holiday Catalogue are available to purchase from my Online Store now.

I'm definitely going to CASE your idea here Judy, as I'm often at a loss for ways to show off the pattern paper. Thank you for inspiring!

Judy, this is fabulous! The two different labels compliment each other nicely, and the touches of gold are beautiful.
