Window Shopping Gift Box
March 10, 2017
Hi there
Today I'm sharing this gift box I made with the Window Box Thinlits dies. I have cut the base from thick Whisper White card stock and used Sweet Sugarplum accents. This is a really good sized box, perfect for treats, a small gift, jewellery etc.
The greeting is from the 'Lift Me Up' stamp set which I have cut into a flag and layered on top of the folded Sweet Sugarplum Ruched ribbon and the silver metallic ribbon from the Sale-a-bration bundle.
For the embellishment on the top, I cut a circle of Sweet Sugarplum glimmer paper from the Sale-a-bration Glimmer Assortment pack and topped it with a lace doily. The flower was made from the Succulent Framelits dies layered up and topped with a large pearl (retired).
I have used one of the small dies that come with the set to cut the cute hearts design in alternate panels on the base with the sweet daisies in the other panels. The daisies are made with 2 of the smallest Succulent flowers layered with petals alternated and topped with a circle of glimmer.
I have lined the base, sides and lid of the box with Sweet Sugarplum card stock which makes it very sturdy. This is such a versatile box and I'm looking forward to showing you some different variations and embellishment options in future posts.
