Layering Sweet Sugarplum Love

Hi there

Today I'm sharing one of the cards we made at my recent Annual Catalogue launch party, showcasing lots of new products.  Sweet Sugarplum is definitely one of my favourite In Colours this year and I've paired it with black for a monochrome look that lets it take centre stage.

The big greeting is from the 'Layering Love' stamp set and is perfect for a friendship, birthday or even thank you card. You can add the extra sentiment inside the card or with the words you write to the recipient. The background has been dry embossed with the new 'Sparkle' embossing folder. This is a great multi-purpose design that works for any occasion. You can also see I have used one of the scalloped circles from the new Layering Circles framelits die that makes the greeting pop out from the background.  This is a simple but flexible layout with lots of texture and details for interest.

For the inside, I have used some of the floral DSP at the bottom and trimmed it with a matching scallop edge from the (retired) Dotted Scallop Ribbon punch. A little bling butterfly finishes it off.
