CASE-ing the Catty - More Saleabration!

This week the CASE-ing the Catty crew are looking at the Saleabration catalogue and in particular I'm looking at the new items available in the Second Release brochure.

This week I wanted to get my balloon on! I've used the Saleabration second release 'Party Pants' stamp set and the coordinating Balloon Bouquet punch from the Occasions Catalogue. These were the samples from the second release brochure that caught my eye.
I have to admit when I first saw the 'Party Pants' set, I thought 'do I really need another birthday stamp set?'. Well the answer is a resounding YES! The 'Balloon Celebration' stamp set from the Occasions catty didn't do it for me, but I love the Balloon Bouquet punch and now 'Party Pants' gives me lots of cute sentiments that fit into the balloons, plus a balloon stamp, string and accessories and best of all, you can get it FREE with a $90 order like I did. Don't forget you only have until 31 March 2016 to take advantage of the FREE Saleabration products.
I have taken the opportunity to make a card for my husband's niece who has a birthday coming up shortly. I've used the fabulous 'It's My Party' designer paper and taken the colour cues from it. I really like this layout with the 'Large Numbers' dies, which would fit the bill for any child or teen birthday card - lots of dimension, texture and colour.
For the inside, I used a strip of the designer paper on the bottom and a small balloon stamped with another of the 'Party Pants' sentiments.

I like the combination of the balloons with the sentiments with this stamp set and you have made it a feature with the striking numbers.

Judy I had the same thoughts - but you are right this is a great set - I often wish there was something simple like this in the main catalogue for beginning stampers to feel comfortable purchasing. mine hasn't arrived yet but i know it will get plenty of use. Lovely bright card!

I agree with you - this stamp set is so much fun and I've used it LOTS and LOTS!! It looks awesome with the Numbers too!! Way to go - great card!
