CASE-ing the CTC Crew

Hi there

It is the last of the CASE-ing the Catty for this year, but we will be back next year with inspiration from the wonderful new Occasions catalogue. You may have come from Helen's Blog, but if you are visiting me you can join the trail by using the button at the bottom of this post.

For something a little different, we are finishing up by CASE-ing a CASE from one of the CTC crew! I'm casing this card from the lovely Rachel Palmieri. I love the softly coloured nutcracker image and the Pool Party and Real Red colour combo Rachel has used.

I didn't end up purchasing the 'Sparkly Seasons' stamp  set although it got on the list a couple of times. I do like snow globes and it is quite a versatile set with the ballerina in addition to winter, Christmas and Halloween images. I might relent now it is in the amazing End of Year sale.  So, to my card.  I have improvised by creating my snow globe with the Sleigh Ride Edgelits and Circles Collection framelits; creating a night scene with the sparkly black glimmer paper in the background, Lost Lagoon in the middle and gorgeous Dazzling Diamonds in the foreground. I've finished it off with a wooden Snowflake element a little bow of silver cording trim.
