Christmas Gift Wallets
December 05, 2015
Hi there
Well, it has been a crazy busy few weeks. One thing that occupied most of a week was making 31 of these combine card and gift wallets for a corporate commission. Some lucky people are going to be getting a Christmas bonus this year!
I have used the 'Merry Moments' designer series paper, which makes for a great unisex result in traditional Christmas colours.
These gift wallets are sized to hold currency, but they would serve just as well for a gift card. Here is a closer look at the polka dot and plaid combination. For the belly band, I have used the lovely greeting from the 'Lots of Joy' stamp set and die cut it with the scallop die from the retired Apothecary Accents framelits (these are currently in the Clearance Rack at a great price!). I popped it up on a Mossy Meadow oval and then a Real Oval. I finished it with some gold flat back pearls.
There are 2 panels on the inside. I created the frame and greeting on my computer and then printed and cut them to size. The holly from the 'Embellished Ornaments' stamp set was stamped on both panels as a finishing touch. The panel at the top is for a personal message. The wallets measure 18.5cm ( 7 1/4") x 9cm (3 1/2") and fit into a standard DL sized envelope.
Here you can see how it looks with the currency inserted into the slot in the middle.
You can find the combined tutorial for this currency wallet and my previous gift card holder on my tutorials page here.

These are so cute - would it be possible to get the instructions for the cutting of the actual wallet.
