Quick Christmas Cards
December 19, 2015
Hi there
One week until Christmas and you need a few more Christmas cards? Yes, that is me too, lol. I have a versatile layout for you that lets beautiful designer series paper do all the heavy lifting.
I have used the bold Christmas sentiment from the 'Sassy Salutations' stamp set at the top of each card in a colour that coordinates with the DSP. This first card uses the snowy scene design from the 'Home for Christmas' DSP which was perfect for a couple of friends going overseas for a white Christmas. The base card is Pool Party with Real Red accents - one of my favourite contemporary Christmas colour combos.
The second option uses the bold ornament design also from 'Home for Christmas' DSP pack. I love the pop that Pacific Point gives this card. I've added some sparkle with the red glimmer band. I have embossed the Pacific Point banner with the Softly Falling TIEF for some extra texture and interest.
The next option uses my favourite design from the 'Season of Cheer' DSP. The base card is in Cherry Cobbler with a Mossy Meadow greeting. I have used the 'Brushstrokes' background stamp to create the striped banner and it works really well with the watercolour style of the designer paper.
I have keep the inside decoration very simple, using another coordinating piece of DSP at the base with a glimmer accent.
Although the layout is the same, the DSP gives each card a different feel and I love that I'm using up the paper instead of saving it for a day that will probably never come! You can get 9 cards from a sheet of 12 x 12 DSP using this layout, so that is good value too.

I love these beautiful cards, Judy, and the versatility of using almost any printed paper for them. My goal this year is to use as much of my DSP as possible. This design will help get 100 cards finished.
