Wonderland Gift Card Holder
November 03, 2015
Hi there
It has been a really busy two weeks since my last post. I decided at short notice to participate with some other Stampin' Up! demonstrators in a craft fair. That ate up a week while I prepared display items and some kits to sell plus setting up and attending the fair.
I was just recovering from that when my husband whisked me off to Cradle Mountain in Tasmania for a few days to celebrate my birthday. It was a really lovely surprise and it is a beautiful area to visit, if you get the opportunity.
I thought I would share one of the projects that we made in class last Saturday. It is a combined card and gift card holder. It is 15.cm x 9cm (6 1/8" x 3 1/2") and fits into a standard C6 envelope, making it so easy for you to send off your gift and card in one easy step.
I have used the 'Wonderland' DSP for a rich and elegant Christmas look. With a change of greeting the black, gold and white combo would be perfect for a special birthday or even a wedding.
The card is held closed by the removable belly band which is embellished with black and gold foil ovals and the gold embossed greeting from the 'Lots of Joy' stamp set.
The inside has an insert for your gift card (or folded currency) and a writing panel at the bottom. If you need a larger panel for your message, you could also use the panel above the gift card insert or swap the DSP to the bottom panel.
