All Ye Faithful
November 09, 2015
Hi there
Today I'm sharing the final project from my most recent class. It is a traditional Christmas card in contemporary colours using the beautiful images from the 'All Ye Faithful' stamp set. It was inspired by this card by Helen.
I have stamped the Mary and Joseph image and heat embossed it in gold on a tag that has been cut with the Ornate Tag Topper punch. The tag sits on a mat of Gold Foil that is topped with the gold vellum from the 'Wonderland' vellum stack. The base card is in Lost Lagoon which works so well with the gold foil.
The sentiment is from the 'Wonderland' stamp set, also gold embossed, this time on Soft Sky card stock to complement the Lost Lagoon and the colouring of the image. Because the image is fairly small and detailed, I have coloured it with Copic markers coordinating with the base and mat. The rhinestone on the 'star' has also been coloured with a copic marker. The result is soft and calm.
For the inside I have stamped, gold embossed and coloured the shepherd image (minus one sheep) which is grounded by a narrow strip of gold foil.

This card is stunning! I'd like to use it for my Christmas cards I send my family. What are the dimensions of all the pieces and what did you use to cut out the sentiment?
