Father's Day Blog Hop
August 20, 2015
Hi there
Today I'm participating with some of the ladies from the 'Art with Heart' Stampin' Up! team to present some fabulous Father's Day ideas to inspire you. We also have our brand new 2015 Holiday Catalogue available from 1 September, with some amazing Christmas inspiration for you. Be sure to contact me to request a catalogue today!
You may have come from Claire's blog, but if not, you can start here and then follow the trail to the next blog by clicking on the button at the bottom of this post.
I have a pretty limited set of male oriented stamp sets, so I am using my current 'go to' set for male cards, 'Wetlands'. This would suit a nature oriented guy perfectly. I have combined all of the images on a sponged background for my card. I couldn't decide where/if to put a greeting on the front, so I ended up leaving it off. I have stamped and coloured a second goose and popped it up on the stamped image. The main panel is also popped up on the Cherry Cobbler base card.
I have done a bit more sponging on the inside with the little sand pipers. As my Dad passed away many years ago, I have used a more generic greeting here, but you can add whatever sentiment is appropriate.
