Easter Projects - Part 2
March 24, 2015
Hello
I'm back with Part 2 of my Easter projects. First up is an Easter card, using the lovely 'Indescribable Gift' stamp set. Previously I would have coloured it with Blendabilities, but this time I decided to try it with a long neglected technique of water colouring with ink pads on water colour paper. I have used a pastel palette of Smoky Slate and Crisp Cantaloupe and added a dash of the gorgeous Calypso Coral seam binding ribbon for pop.
This card would be equally suited as a Mother's Day, birthday, thank you or friendship card with a change of greeting. For the inside of the card I have stamped a portion of the floral image in the top right corner and also water coloured it. I had forgotten how pretty the soft wash of water colouring could be. At the base is a strip of spotty Crisp Cantaloupe washi tape from the 'Sweet Dreams' collection.
The last project is a cute bunny using the Sweet Treat Cups. I have had these in the cupboard for ages and was glad when the inspiration struck. I saw the opportunity to use the same bunny head and paws I created for the Bunny Treat Box by creating a tummy mid-section. He is pretty cute!
This is a back view showing a perforated tab that will allow the treats to be removed while keeping the bunny basically intact.
My 21 page tutorial gives detailed instructions for both of these projects as well as the 2 projects in the previous post. You can purchase it by clicking on the PayPal button below.

Wow, that seam binding really does pop. Fabulous card! Love your bunny too.
