Merry Monday #101
March 30, 2014
Hi there
I decided on the spur of the moment to enter this week's Merry Monday Challenge. I had hoped to enter last week, but we were hosting a young man from Germany on a Rotary Study exchange, so I had my hands full with other activities.
This is the inspirational photo Lesley provided for the challenge, which is to use only grey, red and white on your card.
This is a lovely fresh colour combination and the Design Team have done a fabulous job with it. I decided to break out two uninked stamp sets that I have been wanting to use for ages. The first is the 'Post Card' stamp and the other is 'Santa's List' stamp. I think they go well together, as they both have an olde world feel, yet the colour combo is very contemporary. This is what I came up with.
Project Details | |
Stamps | Post Card, Santa's List (Retired), Merry Little Christmas (Reitred), Winter Post (Retired) |

ETA: Thanks to the ladies at Merry Monday for choosing this card for an Honorable Mention.
