Normal Life is Resuming!
October 26, 2013
Hi there
After a fabulous 8 week holiday in Europe, life is starting to return to normal. It has been back to reality with a jolt, but it is lovely to be able to potter in my craft room again. I'm still finding my mojo after such a long break, but I do have a card to share with you, even though I'm not really sure about it.
Christmas is going to be my focus for a while and Stampin' Up! have released a fabulous assortment of single stamps for the holiday season. This is a very cost effective way to add some new options to your Christmas crafting. You can see them all here. On this card I have used the 'Wonderful Blessing' nativity stamp as the focus. It is a very detailed stamp, so I have gone for a monochromatic colour scheme with Midnight Muse and white, with some silver glimmer to lift it. I have silver embossed the 'Peace on Earth' and popped it up on top.
This is my first opportunity to use some of the great new products from the Holiday catalogue. I love the elegance of the 'Stylish Stripes' embossing folder; the lovely sparkle of the 'Frosted Finishes' embelishments and subtle shine of the Silver Foil sheets. Don't forget you can now buy all of these items from my Online Store. Just click on the button at the top left to have Stampin' Up! products delivered to your door.
