Seize the Birthday #9 - Feminine
March 12, 2013
Hi there
I have a very CAS card for this week's Seize the Birthday #9 challenge which is to use this great sketch from Lesley for a feminine birthday card.
I have stamped part of the lovely 'Pleasant Poppies' background stamp and used my Copics to colour match it with Tangerine Tango. I love orange poppies as they are so bright and cheery. I have kept the embellishment to a minimum and popped up the coloured panel and the sentiment. The pearls have been coloured with a matching Copic. This has to be one of the few cards I have made recently that doesn't use the Big Shot. Now that is CAS for me!
As I am running late with this one, I had to photograph it under artificial light so apologies for the lighting. (ETA: Now replaced with a better photo)
