Merry Monday #34
September 26, 2012
Hi there
I was doing some colouring on the weekend and this poinsettia image was on my desk when the latest Merry Monday #34 sketch popped in my In Box, so it formed the basis for my card today. Here is the sketch:
I
used the debossed side of the lovely new Lacy Brocade embossing folder
for the background, with Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green for a
traditional colour combination. The poinsettia spray is from the 'Bells & Boughs' stamp set and coloured in cream tones with a touch of the green in the veins.
Project Details | |
Stamps | Bells & Boughs, Joyous Celebrations |
Card stock & Papers | Cherry Cobbler (Textured & Smooth), Whisper White, Gumball Green, In Colour Pattern Stack, XPress-IT Blending Card |
Ink | Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamark |
Accessories | Basic Rhinestones |
Tools |
Nestabilities Ovals, Lacy Brocade EF, Big Shot, Dimensionals, Cherry Cobbler EP, Heat Gun, Copics |
Thanks for stopping by.

Thank you Bonnie, for choosing this card for your pick this week.
Wow! Your card is stunning! I love the Ivory color of the poinsettias! How clever to use the debossed side of the folder! TFS!
BTW Artie and Crafty are just gorgeous!

This is so lovely Judy, the debossed side is one side I rarely use and it looks so pretty. Now I wish I had bought this embossing folder. Congrats on being our winner at Merry Monday last week.
