It has been a while since I have done a Mojo Monday challenge, so I thought I would take advantage of my remaining holiday time to make an Easter card with this week's sketch 231. I don't often make Easter cards, mainly because I don't get myself organised in time. I purchased the (now retired) 'Easter Blossoms' stamp set last year and never got to use it, so it is now or never! This is the sketch this week, which I have turned into a square card:
The lovely branch of cherry blossom determined the colours I have used, allowing me to indulge in a number of shades of my favourite colour - pink! Although Easter is in Autumn in Australia, Easter cards are still generally in pastel colours. This what I came up with:
|Card stock & Papers||Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Crumb Cake Patterns, Elegant Soiree DSP (Retired)
|Ink||Stazon Timber Brown, Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette
|Accessories||Pale Pink Seam Binding ribbon (not SU), Basic Pearls
|Tools||Circle Nestabilites, Tasteful Trim Die, Big Shot, Designer Label punch, Itty Bitty Punch pack, Corner rounder punch, Dimensionals, Stampin' Write Markers (Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose, Melon Mambo, Chocolate Chip), Blender pen, Crimper, White gel pen, Glue Dots, sponge dauber|
Thanks for stopping by.
