Should Blue & Green Be Seen?

Hi there

Just popping in with a card that I have finally managed to finish after having sat on my desk for the last few weeks.  I hope you can bear with me during this creative drought as I am working long hours on a project at work. Hopefully it will finish successfully in a couple of weeks and I will get a week off to refresh my creative endeavours.

I have had the pleasure of having my friend Karen and her 2 lovely daughters (Kate and Grace) from Perth,  staying with me for a few days.  They made some lovely cards and reminded me that simple can still be fabulous.  I introduced Grace to Copics and she proceeded to colour up a storm of cute images. Needless to say Mum will forever more, be poor!

Now to the card. I have used the blue and green floral patterns from the 'Beyond the Garden' designer paper, hence the title of my post.  I have kept it really simple as the designs are quite busy. The cute tree is from the 'Easy Events' stamp set, coloured with Copics.

Gorgeous, Judy. Especially love how you've stamped and daubed the background. Beautiful. xoxox

Blue and green together have always been favourites of mine. Great card Judy, love that DSP.

I was brought up with the saying, "Blue and green should never be seen except in the washing machine" but I never believed that was true as you just have to peek outside to see the beautiful sky and green grass! Your card is proof that the saying is so wrong. The DSP strips are beautiful and so is the colouring of the tree.
