Just Add Ink #55 - Monochrome Theme Challenge

Hello

Just popping in with a quick card for this week's Just Add Ink Theme Challenge - 'Just Add Monochrome'. I did a quick check of the definition and it literally means 'one colour' or 'shades of one colour', although black and white is traditionally thought of as being monochrome.

I've gone with one of my favourite colours - Rose Red, using the 'Bella Toile' stamp.  I love the look of toile, having used it a lot in quilts and the roman blinds in my kitchen. It is most often seen in monochrome colourways, blue and white being one of my favourites. It is such an elegant look for cards as well and so adaptable to almost any occasion.  Anyway, here is what I came up with.

I'm off to see a Melbourne Theatre Company play this afternoon, the first for ages.

Enjoy your weekend.
