JAI37 - Colour Challenge

Hi there

Now that the boy grunge thing is done, it is back to normal programming - pink and floral!  This card is for the Colour Challenge over at Just Add Ink. When I first saw this group of colours, the thought of including two shades of green was definitely a challenge.  However, it is amazing how the placement of colours can make them work so well together.

JAI37

The base is Always Artichoke in a gate fold card. This was topped with the Rose Red stripe from the Patterns DSP Stack. These are a fabulous addition to the Stampin' Up! range as they come in every colour and in really useful designs. I've inked up the flowers from the 'Printed Petals' stamp set in Rose Red and Pumpkin Pie, providing a really bright combination on the Very Vanilla background. The leaves from 'Petal Pizzazz' have been stamped in Old Olive as has the sentiment from 'Afterthoughts' (Level 1 Hostess set) to bring in the final colour of the combo. I've added some Basic Pearls, taffeta ribbon and one of the cute butterflies from the 'Beautiful Wings' embosslit die to finish it off. After my initial doubts, I really like these colours together.  What do you think?
