Plum Beauty
March 02, 2010
Hello again
After being busy with Easter baskets, it was lovely to be making a card today with one of my favourite stamp sets; actually two of my favourites - 'Bloomin Beauty' and 'En Francais'.
This is a simple design, but never fails to look elegant. The rose has been stamped in Basic Gray on watercolour paper and then coloured with the Aquapainter and Pale and Perfect Plum ink pads. The edges were sponged with Pale Plum first and then Perfect Plum. This layer has been popped up onto Pink Pirouette, matted on Perfect Plum and then onto the Kraft card base stamped in Versamark with En Francais. I hope you like it. The full details are below.

This is really lovely, Judy. I think the colour of the ribbon is perfect, and I love how you've rounded the corners of the little sentiment panel.
