Autumn/Winner Mini Preview - Blog Hop

Hello

Welcome to the Art with Heart team monthly Blog Hop. The Art with Heart team led by Claire Daly, is a group of more than 80 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from across Australia. If you would like to be part of this supportive group of talented paper crafters email me for more details.

You may have come from Tanja Westwood’s blog, but if not, you can join the Blog Hop from here by clicking on the link to the next blog at the bottom of this post. A list of links to all participating blogs has been provided for your convenience. We hope you will visit each blog to see the wonderful creations we have to show you! If you leave a comment on every blog and then email Nikki at [email protected], your name will be put into the hat to win some beautiful Blog Candy. You have until 6am EST on 3 April 2010 to leave your comments and only those who are not Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators are eligible to win the Blog Candy.

This month the team is bringing you projects using the great new range of products in the Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue that commences tomorrow, 1 April 2010.  This is an extra mini catalogue while we wait for the new annual Idea Book and Catalogue that will launch on 1 September 2010. There are new clear mount stamp sets (yeah!), new design punches, 3 new In Colours, 2 new Designer Series papers, the Big Shot Die Cutting machine and Stampin’ Up! only Dies and embossing folders, plus much more. This mini catalogue is HUGE. Contact me if you would the Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue posted to you.

The project I have for you is a card using the ‘Vintage Vogue’ stamp set (one of my new favouritesJ) and the new Designer Series paper Cottage Wall.  I have purchased this set in the clear mount format that comes in a DVD styled container which is great for storage. The stamps are still made of real rubber on a cushion, ensuring the same great clarity of image as the wood mount stamps. Each stamp comes with a picture that you stick to the top of the cushion so that you can get accurate placement of the image.

I have stamped the small flowers from another new set – ‘Cottage Garden’ in Versamark at the top of the Rich Razzleberry card. A piece of ‘Cottage Wall’ DSP was torn and then the smaller piece was flipped over to show the design on the reverse.  The ‘Friends F’ was stamped twice on Whisper White in Rich Razzleberry and one cut out and popped up. This has been matted onto Old Olive, one of the matching colours for this DSP and placed over the strip of Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot grosgrain ribbon. The large flower was also stamped, cut out, popped up and finished off with a medium sized flat back pearl from the Pretties Kit. Here it is.
